Award-winning cabaret artist Bryce Halliday takes you through an hour of original songs, sketches, stand-up comedy and sound art. Beguilingly friendly and warm, Bryce starts out joking about growing up in Nowra NSW, but soon swerves off into an aural rollercoaster of vocal looping, slapstick, existential crisis, an impromptu dance party and a few of his trademark piano ditties thrown in for good measure. It’s an evening that takes inspiration in equal measure from Reggie Watts, Bill Bailey, and Regina Spektor.
After touring his previous show “The Bryce Is Right” to the Adelaide Fringe Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival last year, Bryce takes things to the next level at Sydney Fringe Comedy. With a new show that features improvisation, vocal looping, over 130 sound cues launched live from stage and a few of his trademark piano ditties for good measure.
